Mount Thielsen, also known as Big Cowhorn, has a height of 2,799 meters (9,184 ft) above sea level and is located in the state of Oregon in the USA. Mount Thielsen is an extinct shield volcano in the High Cascades part of the Cascade Range. It’s inside the Mount Thielsen Wilderness area which is a popular destination for camping, hiking, wildlife watching, and rock climbing. There are three black diamond ski routes on the mountain for serious ski mountaineering enthusiasts.
